| Our company was established in 1925 by Pepo Is.
Joseph in Salonica, as a general agency company, operating on a
commission basis.
In 1932, the head office was moved to Athens and the Company
became a registered partnership, with Robert H. Rafael joining.
Two main branches were then developed: textiles and pharmaceuticals.
In textiles, the Company acted exclusively on behalf of multinationals,
such as I.C.I. Fibres, Courtaulds and British Nylon Spinners.
In the drug front, the Company set a pharmaceutical facility
jointly with the French companies Clin-Byla and Mayoly-Spindler.
These operations were halted during World War II and pharmaceutical
activities brought to an end after the war.
